This picture shows a monk praying in the Buddhist temple of Chinatown in Melaka (or Malacca), a beautiful place declared a UNESCO Heritage Site. This city has a huge colonialism history, it has been ruled by several countries over the past centuries (Portugal, Netherlands, England, Japan and eventually Malaysia). This made Melaka a multicultural city by its food, buildings and people. A wonderful little place!
